The I AM Legacy Chain is a daily reminder to choose to believe the truth and live it out each day so that you are able to live with purpose and leave a legacy. Your personalized word is a contract with yourself to be who you were truly created to be so that your legacy can become the unique impact you have on others.
Throughout life most of us have formed a false belief system about who we are because of something hurtful that someone said to us or a time when we failed at something or we were hurt by someone and we begin to believe those negative thoughts. They play like a tape in our minds. “I’m not good enough” – “I’m a failure” – “I’m unloveable”. And eventually, what we think about is what we become. It begins to grow.
The reality is that those are lies that we have allowed to enter our minds and we need to begin to examine each of those thoughts and identify the TRUTH.
I AM WORTHY ~ I AM ENOUGH ~ I AM BLESSED ~ I AM LOVED ~ I AM STRONG ~ I AM FREE ~ I AM FORGIVEN
THIS is the TRUTH. But as long as we allow the lies to remain, they will hold us back. They will steal our joy, they will destroy our hope and they will kill our dreams of living on purpose. But the truth will set you free. Choose truth. Choose life.
Each Legacy Chain is hand stamped by a Whole Way House community member in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. As a person who has transitioned out of homelessness, they are able to work in a safe and welcoming environment, at their own pace, with dignity. The part time work allows them to earn extra income while creating something beautiful that will give back to their community.
The proceeds from each necklace go to help fund the Community Programs at Whole Way House and to the ‘Ron Konkin Legacy Fund’ for couples and families in crisis to attend the Relationship Lifeline weekend, which was Founded by Ron & Tina Konkin.
