Vicki and I were in one big mess when we came to Relationship Lifeline. Yes, there were some good days; but the not so good ones were much more frequent. I’d been unfaithful to my wife along with other selfish acts in our 30 plus marriage. God told her to forgive me but the bitterness and resentment continued to grip her. Our experience at Lifeline was much like it would be when you are cleaning your bedroom up. When you take the skeletons out of the closet and dirt from under the bed, things look pretty bad. That’s what happened to us at Lifeline. The dirt and trash that was still left came into the light. It was a tough experience. The beauty of the program is that afterwards, Vicki and I began to experience breakthroughs and like a flower opening it’s peddles to the sunlight, she began to open up. Her trust is slowly returning to our marriage. She is smiling more. We are choosing to daily “Live above the line” by doing the things we learned at Lifeline. Romans 12:2 says it best, “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Thank you Tina and the Lifeline Team for all that you continue to do! May God grant you the energy to perform the tasks of helping many more like Vicki and I to cultivate a better relationship with Jesus Christ.
